Junior News

 

We have now approached the middle of the season and all teams are going really well.  I have noted the children are improving and really look to be enjoying the game.  Coaches are doing a fantastic job.  Following is some updated news and information regarding the juniors. 

 

Chocolate Fundraiser

 

Chocolates, Chocolates and more Chocolates!!!!!  This fundraiser makes it possible for the children to do a little bit extra on their Presentation Day.   Last year was an absolute hit with loads of children going home very happy, full of sugar and not wanting the day to end.  This day was all made possible with their efforts to sell a box of chocolate.  Not interested in rides, food and fun then there is no pressure to sell a box, it is an option.  Presentation day will be on Sunday 12th September.

 

How it will work this year…

 

• Each child will be given one box of chocolates by the coach on your photo day.  Once you have sold the box please return the money to    Lucie at the office who will issue your armband to the coach prior to the day.
• Siblings can attend the extra celebration but have to be accompanied by a parent.   The parent will have to pay $10 to attend.  Siblings and parents can sell a box of chocolates to also receive a free armband.CFC will cover the cost of 2 adults per team to attend and monitor the children on their team.  If these adults which to upgrade to go on the rides and have lunch it will cost them an additional $10 per adult.
• Have three or more registered players in the club?  You only have to sell 2 boxes per family. 
• The money has to be returned to the office by MONDAY 16th August IF IT IS NOT RETURNED YOU CANNOT GET YOUR ARMBANDS. 

 

Photo Day

 

Photo days have been scheduled and coaches notified.  Please try to arrive on time to keep the process moving.  I apologize to those who are having pictures after a game.  I will have fresh jerseys and combs available to freshen them up if you require.  Please inform your child of the importance of showing up even if they do not want a picture.

 

Senior Game Run On

 

A big thank you to the under 10’s and their coaches for turning up to have a run on with the seniors.  The kids had a great night and some awesome goals were scored.  The next run on by the under 8’s will be Saturday 3rd July.  Come and support our 1st Division men and encourage our under 8’s.

 

School Holidays

 

School holidays are from Friday 25th June until Tuesday 13th July.  Please ask your coach if you are training over the holiday period.  Please inform your coach if you are going away and are unable to train or play in games….
